Reinoud, The Railhobby Design and Starters Kid layouts are two of the nicest continuous running layouts I have seen. The Railhobby plan is terrific as it looks much more complex than it really is. A lot of hidden track to be sure but that is what makes it so enticing for a small design. Similarly the startters kid layout is not dissimilar to some early layouts by Lynn Westcott of Kalmbach's 101 Track Plans for Model Railroaders fame but seems to incorporate more interest in such a small space. Great job. If I adapt either to an On30 scheme I am working on, I'll definitely keep you posted. Thanks! Ted.

Thank you for this excellent site. My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed it and will use some of the ideas in our 1/4 scale model of our proposed G scale tram-city-street layout. Yours sincerely, Bob.

Awesome page! You´ve given me lots of ideas and I strive to start thinking as soon as I get back home (at the office now). I have a 2 mts x 2,50 mts room and I was wondering how to make a nice train running there.
Thanks so much for your tips

Hi, Thanks to share your designs with us.
I would like to know your rail software. I have Atlas Software and I don't know how to load librarys for third parties or how to create self libraries.

Highly inspirational! Many thanks for sharing all your hard work.
Some really nice ideas there! I've always thought small layouts were more fun. They are practical and achievable. I've seen so many large layout projects fail because the owner never had the time or cash to finish it, or they just got bored with it.
Keep up the good work.
It might even be inspired to make a small layout after a gap of only 32 years in my railway modeling career! (well, you know - marriage, job, kids, etc.).
